Flax Tapioca Egg

A no-fail, vegan and gluten-free egg replacement for any savory or sweet recipe!

  • 1 tbsp tapioca starch also known as "tapioca flour"
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed meal DO NOT use whole flax seeds
  • 3 tbsp water


  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  • Let sit for five minutes until thickened to the consistency of a beaten egg. Add more flax or water if too thin or thick.
